API changelog

Changes to the public contract (/api/v1, as described by openapi.json). All changes are additive.

1.0.0 (2026-10-20)​

First release of the public API.

  • Authentication with organization-scoped API keys (atla_live_…), created under Settings → Organization → API keys, with scopes and a mandatory expiry (30 to 365 days).
  • Scopes: Read providers, Manage providers, Read facilities, Manage facilities, Read needs/orders/shift events, Manage needs/orders/shift events.
  • Routes: GET /profile; providers (list, create, update, deactivate, facility assignments, specialties); facilities (list, get, create, update, delete, providers, contacts); needs (list, get, create, update, cancel, assign); orders (list, get, create, update, cancel); shift events (list, record, correct, delete).
  • Limits: 600 requests per minute per key, X-RateLimit-* headers, 429 with Retry-After.
  • Reference: GET /api/v1/openapi.json and the interactive page at /developers on the API host.

Not yet available​

Outbound webhooks (push notifications of changes to your system), a Zapier / Make connector, and a financial-reports scope are planned. Until webhooks exist, poll the list routes with from / to date filters and compare updatedAt.
